Premium Front Bumper. The AEV Front Bumper for 2015-2022 Chevy Colorado trucks offers enhanced protection and rugged styling for off-road enthusiasts. Designed to replace the OEM bumper, it provides superior durability and added functionality, including accessible chassis-mounted recovery points and a winch mount integrated behind the branded license plate mount (winch mount requires a separate install kit), vital for expedition and recovery scenarios.

Construction and Appearance. This front bumper is crafted from heavy-duty steel, featuring a 2.5mm stamped steel face with 3mm thick corner stampings and a robust 3-inch tubular steel substructure to ensure maximum strength and trail resilience. It is e-coated and powder coated to prevent corrosion, delivering a long-lasting durable finish made in the USA. The bumper has passed GM corrosion, vibration, and front impact crash testing and is the only winch mounting solution that does not jeopardize the Colorado's cooling efficiency.

Installation. Installation is considered advanced and estimated to take approximately six hours. Compatible grilles are required—either the 2019-2022 Colorado ZR2 Bison grille or the 2015-2020 Colorado Z71 grille. Trucks without OEM fog light wiring will require custom wiring for the included OE halogen fog lights. After installation, updated airbag system recalibration is available from Chevrolet dealerships.

Application. Designed specifically to fit 2015-2022 Colorado Extended Cab trucks, with compatibility requirements including the 2019-2022 ZR2 Bison grille or 2015-20 Colorado Z71 grille. It integrates with OE fog lights for trucks equipped and requires additional wiring for those without.
