Description
Product Overview. The Protect-A-Boot and Wire Kit; 4-Cylinder; Red is engineered to shield spark plug boots and wires from extreme heat generated by headers and engines. This kit enhances durability by preventing burning, hardening, and cracking of ignition components, effectively extending the lifespan of critical ignition parts while maintaining optimal engine performance.
Construction and Appearance. Made from a high temperature, nonflammable glass fiber material, this kit can withstand temperatures up to 1000°F. It features double-wall construction on the boots for superior protection. The boots, which include a sewn-in internal metal ring, measure 6 inches in length and fit wires up to 8mm in diameter. The red sleeving and boots add a professional, finished look.
Installation. Installation is simple and does not require drilling or special tools. The included heat shrink tubes ensure a secure, water-tight seal for long-lasting protection and performance.
