Description
High-Performance Heat Shield. The Pipe Shield, measuring 6 inches by 12 inches, provides effective heat protection for pipes by creating a barrier that withstands extreme radiant heat up to 2000°F. Its preformed curved shape fits most pipe sizes and helps prevent burns, protects nearby components, and improves overall comfort inside vehicles.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from durable 304 stainless steel with welded seams for enhanced strength, this shield features two layers of stainless steel encapsulating a high-temperature insulating core. The outer surface acts as a stainless steel heat barrier, while 1/2” stainless steel standoffs create an air gap that increases insulation efficiency.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling, using the included stainless steel hose clamps to mount securely around pipes. The shield’s flexibility allows for easy shaping to fit various pipe configurations.
