      Description

      Heat Protection Solution. The Heat Sheath GOLD, sized 2.25 inches by 36 inches, is designed to protect lines, hoses, and wires from heat and abrasion damage. It reflects radiant heat, keeping components cooler and preventing premature failure in demanding automotive environments.

      Construction and Appearance. This sleeve is made from a high-temperature metalized polyimide lamination bonded to a 20-ounce heat-treated glass fiber base. It features a gold metallized finish that efficiently reflects heat, while aramid thread reinforcement provides added durability and flame-retardant properties.

      Installation. Installation is simple and requires no drilling. Unhook the line or hose, cut the sheath to the desired length, slide it over the component, and then reattach it securely.

      Application. Designed for universal fit; some adaptation may be required. Do not apply directly to exhaust components.
