You don't have to sacrifice comfort to achieve this, because these gears will run quietly and smoothly at any speed.

      Application. This Yukon Gear 8.25 in. IFS Front Ring Gear and Pinion Set with a 5.13 ratio is compatible with 2007-2013 GMC Sierras.

      Technical Note. 2010 Vehicles equipped with a 8.25 IFS Front ends and factory 3.08 gear will need a new carrier when changing ratio. When purchasing 3.42 & up gears for a factory 3.08 application you must also purchase a YC G26018131 case with it. Deck Height with 3.08 Ratio 1.780” Deck height with 3.42 & up Ratio 1.920”.
