      High Heat Barrier. The Floor and Tunnel Shield II (42-Inch x 48-Inch) Aluminum barrier is engineered to provide effective thermal protection by reflecting and insulating against extreme heat sources. It is commonly used in automotive applications to shield interiors and sensitive components from damaging heat, helping maintain comfort and protect electronics and materials.

      Construction and Appearance. This product features a 10 mil embossed aluminum face bonded to a 1/8" composite glass-fiber core, delivering superior heat resistance and rigidity. The aluminum surface enhances reflection and durability, while the overall thickness of 3/16" allows shaping and trimming to fit tight spaces. The backing is non-adhesive and should face away from the heat source during installation.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward and typically does not require drilling, making it accessible for both professional and enthusiast use. The material can be cut and shaped on-site to ensure a precise fit in confined spaces.

      Application. This shield is designed for universal applications, with some adaptation potentially required to fit specific vehicle configurations.
