Description

The Wilwood Tactical Extreme TX6R Front Big Brake Kit with 15-inch slotted rotors and anodized clear calipers is engineered to provide exceptional braking performance for truck applications. It is designed to be compatible with factory power brake systems for reliable and safe control.
Construction and Appearance. Featuring TX6R radial mount six-piston calipers finished in Type III clear anodize for excellent durability and corrosion resistance, the kit includes 15-inch GT-60 directional vane slotted rotors manufactured from Spec-37 iron with a black electro-coat finish. These rotors are optimized for effective heat dissipation and long-lasting performance, offering a professional appearance and robust construction.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring no drilling, as the kit mounts directly to factory disc spindles. All necessary mounting hardware and radial mount caliper brackets are included, allowing for a bolt-on upgrade experience on compatible trucks.
Application. Designed specifically to fit the 2011 through 2019 Silverado 2500 HD models equipped with factory disc spindles, this brake kit requires a minimum wheel diameter of twenty inches. Users should confirm sufficient wheel clearance prior to installation.
