      Improves Engine Performance and Health. The Volant Closed Box Cold Air Intake with MaxFlow 5 Oiled Filter is the upgrade you need to unleash your RAM 1500’s high-performance capabilities. This system is less restrictive than your factory cold air intake, so it can feed more cool air into the engine. It also uses a high-velocity venturi filter adaptor for a smoother transition through the MAF sensor. Thanks to this, your truck can hit higher horsepower and torque numbers with ease.

      Doesn’t Require Any Tuning. You don’t have to tune your truck’s ECU to ensure that this cold air intake is working properly. However, it’s recommended to check the system’s performance once installed. To do that, start your truck’s engine and make sure to look and listen for any unusual noises and air leaks. To ensure long-lasting performance, it’s in your best interest to check the system periodically, after a few heat cycles.

      Features the MaxFlow 5 Oiled Filter. This cold air intake system uses Volant’s MaxFlow 5 Oiled Filter. This air filter boasts a 5-layer oiled cotton gauze construction that’s pleated between a top and bottom aluminum screen. This allows the filter to provide you with the highest possible air flow rating, as well as a long filter life and maintenance. What’s more, it’s reusable and washable, so you don’t have to replace it when it gets dirty.
