      EXTERNAL WASTEGATE PERFORMANCE. The Turbosmart Gen4 HyperGate45 External Wastegate; 14 PSI; Black regulates exhaust gas flow to maintain and control turbo boost pressure effectively. It is used in turbocharged engines to bypass excess exhaust gas, protecting the engine from overboost and improving overall turbocharger response. This wastegate is ideal for enthusiasts seeking reliable boost control on street-driven vehicles running pump fuel or E85.

      CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. This wastegate features a durable stainless steel cast body combined with an aluminium actuator housing for strength and heat resistance. It utilizes a proprietary high-temperature silicon Nomex diaphragm for enhanced durability under extreme conditions. The unit finishes in a black anodized texture designed to withstand engine bay heat without compromising structural integrity.
