Premium Replacement Tie Rod End. Synergy Manufacturing’s 1:8 Taper HD Drag Link Tie Rod End is a premium, heavy-duty replacement tie rod end for your RAM’s drag link, featuring an updated design, durable construction, and industry-leading warranty.
Replace A Damaged Tie Rod End. Factory and factory-style tie rod ends are highly prone to wear due to their poor quality dust boots and composite bearing surfaces. When the bearing begins to wear, the entire joint develops play, leading to sloppy, indirect steering. Synergy’s tie rod ends are a premium replacement, updating the problematic factory design for long, reliable service life.
Durable Construction. Synergy products are renowned for their durable construction and long service life; this tie rod is not different, featuring a 1018-steel bearing housing, 4140-steel end stud, and wear and tear-resistant NBR boots.
Upgraded Design. This tie rod end features an updated, heavy-duty design, addressing the shortcomings of the factory joint for enhanced durability. In addition, this tie rod end features a metal-on-metal design, eliminating the problematic factory composite bearing surface to reduce wear and tear drastically. This product also features strategically-placed internal grooves to help with grease retention. Lastly, this joint is fully greaseable with the pre-installed Zerk fitting.
Warranty. A limited lifetime warranty covers this product against manufacturing defects.
