This cold air intake combines a free-flowing design with a high-flow air filter to ensure your engine gets all the cold air it needs for maximum performance. Additionally, this system features an all-black look from the filter to the intake tubes to give your engine bay an aggressive performance-oriented style.
No ECU Re-Tune Necessary. This cold air intake’s specialized free-flowing design provides your Sierra with its gains in power and torque without requiring an ECU re-tune. Still, a future ECU re-tune is always beneficial, as this will maximize the performance potential of this intake with your truck.
High-Performance Oiled Air Filter. Providing complete engine protection is a high-performance air filter featuring multiple layers of non-woven synthetic filter media. This design ensures superior airflow while also delivering highly-efficient filtering, ensuring exceptional performance gains and total engine protection. What’s more, this air filter is pre-oiled from the factory and is easy to clean using an appropriate filter cleaning kit.
Rigid Build Quality. The cold air intake features mandrel-bent aluminum intake tubes ensuring air is delivered to your engine without any turbulence. This construction also offers superior durability and corrosion resistance. Likewise, a sturdy two-piece steel heat shield keeps the air filter protected from damaging engine bay heat, extending its life. Lastly, this cold air intake received a tough black powder coat finish for a radical “blacked-out” look.
No-Nonsense Installation. Installing this Spectre cold air is a no-nonsense process as this assembly mounts into your truck’s factory air intake location without requiring modifications.
