This air hood features an aerodynamic design that sucks in cold air and feeds it directly to your air intake to improve combustion. The result is a slight gain in horsepower and fuel economy. 

Heat Extraction. Not only do air hoods suck in cold air, but they also extract hot air. This makes it easier to work on your Silverado on those hot days or right after a long drive without having to wait for your truck to cool down. 

Hand-Laid Fiberglass. This air hood consists of a hand-laid and manufactured fiberglass capable of standing up to impact and debris without collapsing on the road. 

Grey Gel Coating. This air hood comes with a raw finish ready to paint to match your hood. In addition, it’s treated with a gray gel coating to provide minor corrosion and rust resistance if you decide to retain its OE appearance. 

Minor Preparation Required. This air extraction hood is custom designed to match the natural contours of your Silverado’s hood and offers direct bolt-on installation. However, some minor prep, including filling and sanding, may be required before installing this air hood. 

Application. The Ram Air Extractor Hood is compatible with all 2015-2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD models. All 2017-2019 models require additional modification to the radiator shroud to account for the extra clearance of the LP5 engine.
