Description
Superior Heat Protection. The Protect-A-Wire Kit for 4-Cylinder engines is designed to shield spark plug wires, fuel lines, and oil lines from extreme engine and exhaust heat. It helps prevent damage such as burning and cracking, enhancing performance and durability in high-heat automotive environments.
Construction and Appearance. This kit is made from high temperature resistant basalt fiber material and features proprietary LR Technology for enhanced thermal protection. The sleeves have a ½ inch inside diameter and come with metal-ringed Protect-A-Boots and heat shrink tubes to provide a robust, resilient finish ideal for harsh thermal conditions.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling. The components easily fit over wires and hoses to ensure effective thermal protection.
Application. Fits universal applications; some adaptation may be required to accommodate specific vehicle setups or configurations.
