Description

The Protect-A-Boot and Wire Kit; 8-Cylinder; Titanium is designed to protect spark plug boots and wires from extreme heat exposure in high-performance engine compartments. This kit helps prevent burning, cracking, and hardening of ignition components, reducing the risk of ignition failure, misfires, or arcing. It is ideal for automotive, marine, and powersports applications where excessive heat is a concern.
Construction and Appearance. The components are crafted from a proprietary weave of titanium-infused glass fiber, mined from lava rock, offering outstanding durability and heat resistance. The double-wall boots feature an internal metal ring for a secure fit, and the sleeving has a distinctive carbon fiber look that enhances engine bay aesthetics while maintaining pliability.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and does not require drilling. The included heat shrink tubing ensures a secure and water-tight seal, resulting in a professional finish and enhanced reliability of the ignition system.
