Manufactured from professional grade flexible polyolefin material meeting Military Spec DTL-23053/5C, this tube features an over-expanded design that shrinks to one-third of its original diameter. It is engineered to withstand extremely high temperatures ranging from -67°F to 275°F. The tubing has a smooth, uniform finish that maintains its original length during shrinkage, ensuring consistent coverage and protection.
INSTALLATION. Installation is straightforward, requiring the application of heat between 120°F and 180°F using a heat gun for precise shrinking. No drilling or complex tools are necessary, making the installation process efficient and accessible to professionals and enthusiasts alike.
APPLICATION. Fits universally and may require some adaptation depending on specific use cases. Note that this tubing must not be applied directly to exhaust components due to high temperature exposure beyond its recommended limits.
