Heat Protection Solution. The Heat Sheath GOLD; 0.75-Inch x 36-Inch is designed to prevent damage to lines, hoses, and wires from extreme heat and abrasions. It is applied by sliding over the component requiring protection and secured back in place, helping to extend the life and reliability of critical connections exposed to harsh thermal environments.
_x000D_Construction and Appearance. This product features a metalized polyimide lamination that provides high heat reflectivity bonded to a durable 20-ounce heat-treated glass fiber base. It is reinforced with aramid thread to enhance resistance to heat, abrasion, and flames, and has a gold metallic finish that signifies its premium thermal protective capability.
_x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no special tools or drilling. Simply unhook the hose or line, cut the sheath to the desired length, slide it on, and reattach the hose or line.
