      Description

      Extreme Heat Protection. The Form-A-Shield; 42-Inch x 48-Inch is specifically engineered to provide a direct contact thermal barrier capable of withstanding intense temperatures up to 1400°F. It is used primarily on high heat areas such as exhaust headers and turbo housings to reduce radiant heat and lower surrounding temperatures, thereby protecting components and improving performance.

      Construction and Appearance. This heat shield consists of a 10 mil dimpled aluminum outer layer bonded to a high-temperature basalt thermal barrier material. The finish provides a pliable, durable shield resistant to oil and chemical contamination, with a metallic textured surface that conforms to various shapes and configurations.
