The Floor and Tunnel Shield II, measuring 42 inches by 48 inches, provides an effective barrier to reflect and insulate against intense heat sources that can damage interiors, electronics, and vehicle components. It is designed for critical automotive areas such as firewalls, transmission tunnels, and floorboards, where heat management is essential.

This shield features a dimpled 10 mil embossed aluminum face bonded to a 1/8-inch composite glass-fiber core with a high-temperature pressure-sensitive backing. The aluminum surface offers enhanced heat reflection and rigidity, finished with a lightweight design approximately 3/16-inch thick, allowing for easy shaping and trimming for a precise fit.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward and does not require specialized tools or drilling. The aluminum side must face the heat source to maximize protection. The product’s flexibility ensures it can adapt to tight and complex surfaces.
