Description
High-Performance Durability. The TTX Front Upper Control Arm and Ball Joint Assembly is engineered to enhance suspension performance by providing strong, durable control arms designed to handle demanding driving conditions. It maintains wheel alignment and stability, contributing to safer vehicle handling and longer service intervals. This component is essential for vehicles requiring reliable control arm strength in high-usage commercial and passenger applications.
Construction and Appearance. Made from stamped steel with a gold finish, this control arm features upgraded rubber bushings with knurling for secure attachment to the sub-frame. It incorporates patented sintered metal bearings and a neoprene dust boot for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance. The assembly includes a ball joint with a thicker flange to prevent deformation during installation, finished with a pre-applied nylok thread adhesive to ensure secure fasteners.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with the included part-specific slotted castle nut and snap cotter pin, eliminating the need for drilling or modifications. The assembly is a direct bolt-on replacement, and it includes 180 and 90 degree SAE grease fittings for easy servicing.
Application. This control arm assembly fits the 01-10 Silverado 2500 HD models and is intended for front upper non-adjustable suspension configurations.
