Description
High-Temperature Exhaust Protection. The Titanium Knit Exhaust Sleeve; 3-Inch x 36-Inch is engineered to shield exhaust pipes from extreme heat, preventing damage to nearby components and significantly reducing heat transfer into vehicle cabins. Its expandable knit design enables easy installation over larger pipes, flanges, and sensor threads, accommodating various exhaust setups.
_x000D_Construction and Appearance. Made from durable titanium fibers knitted into a flexible and expandable sleeve, the product features a smooth texture with a metallic finish. It withstands continuous exposure to temperatures up to 1382°F and peak temperatures reaching 1800°F, delivering long-lasting durability and protection.
_x000D_Installation. Installation is simple and requires no drilling. The sleeve’s ability to expand allows it to fit over flanges and sensor threads comfortably. It can be cut to the desired length, and the ends can be rolled for a secure fit. Two stainless steel locking ties and a locking tie tool are included to assist with installation.
