Description
Rear Frame Repair Section. This Rust Buster Rear Frame Section is a precision-engineered replacement part developed to restore structural integrity to the rear frame area affected by rust damage. It improves durability and prevents further corrosion, supporting vehicle safety and structural strength.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from heavy-duty 7 gauge steel, this repair section ensures long-lasting performance. It features pre-drilled matching OEM holes for a precise fit without modifications. The part ships coated with an oil protective layer to prevent oxidation during shipping. Post-installation rust converter spray paint is recommended for additional corrosion protection.
Installation. Welding is required to secure the repair section. The design allows installation by capping from the side at the rear of the frame, eliminating the need for cutting the frame. Knockout tabs are provided to facilitate removal of spare tire crossmember hardware without disturbing original rivets, simplifying installation.
