Description
Precision Oil Temperature Monitoring. The Oil Temperature Gauge; Tinted monitors engine oil temperature from 100° to 280° Fahrenheit, helping prevent premature oil breakdown and engine wear. It uses an electronic sensor installed directly into the oil gallery test port or as a replacement for the stock sensor to deliver extremely accurate temperature readings.
Construction and Appearance. This 2 1/16" (52mm) gauge features a black face with a magnified tinted lens, housed in a two-tone gun metal body with a brushed aluminum trim ring. The gauge incorporates a red illuminated needle and white LED backlighting for excellent visibility, combined with a low-profile design and gauge visor for a professional finish.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with complete mounting hardware and detailed instructions provided. Some applications may require additional threading adapters for the sensor; no drilling is typically required for installation if the correct adapter is used.
Warranty. The gauge is backed by a one-year limited warranty for peace of mind.
Application. Universal fitment requiring some adaptation. The included sensor has a 1/8-27 NPT thread size, so compatibility with vehicle fittings should be confirmed and adapters sourced if necessary.
