Description
Trailer Camera Integration. The Adjustable Camera Relocation Kit with Camera enables the addition of a trailer camera to GM trucks that have the factory 360-degree surround view camera system and factory trailer camera input on the rear bumper. This allows drivers to monitor the area behind their trailer using the existing factory display without requiring any additional monitors, enhancing trailer visibility and safety while towing.
Construction and Appearance. The kit includes a durable steel U-bracket mounting system built for rugged use and reliability. The camera is compact, measuring approximately 1.5 inches cubed, with an IP68-rated housing that offers waterproof and dustproof protection. It provides high-definition 1080p resolution, a wide 170-degree viewing angle, and night vision functionality with 0 lux sensitivity.
Installation. Installation uses plug-and-play connections to the trailer camera input located on the rear bumper. The kit contains all necessary hardware, extension harnesses totaling 64 feet of cable, mounting accessories, adhesive tape, zip ties with mounts, and alcohol wipes, allowing for a straightforward setup. Note that this product requires a factory trailer camera input and is designed to work with compatible GM trucks equipped with the factory surround view system.
