Description
Heavy-Duty Towing Solution. The A16 Sliding 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch; 16,000 lb. GTW is engineered to provide a secure and reliable towing connection for short-bed trucks. It features an adjustable S20 slider that offers 12" of travel for better maneuverability in the truck bed. Shock-absorbing poly-torsion inserts and a fully articulating torsion head enhance stability and reduce noise while towing. This hitch is designed for seamless coupling and uncoupling, improving convenience and safety during transport.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from carbon steel, the hitch has a durable carbide black powder coat finish that resists corrosion. Its cast yoke with poly-torsion inserts suppresses shock loads, while the high-strength interlocking jaws fully wrap the kingpin to minimize noise and ensure a secure grip. An extra-wide head opening makes coupling easier, and the lockable handle self-resets to the ready-to-couple position after uncoupling for added convenience.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with the quarter-turn anchoring system that enables quick mounting and removal. Adjustable anchors eliminate chucking between the legs and puck system, ensuring a snug fit. The included puck system adapter is designed to fit 6.5-foot standard truck beds equipped with the factory 5th wheel prep package.
Warranty. This product carries a limited lifetime warranty, including one year coverage for finish and parts. Application. Specifically made for 2016-2019 Silverado 2500 HD models with 6.5-foot beds featuring the factory 5th wheel prep package to ensure proper fitment and performance.
