It supports vehicle suspension by connecting the chassis to the wheel assembly, ensuring precise control, smooth handling, and stability. This part is critical for maintaining proper alignment and vehicle safety during high usage.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from forged aluminum for exceptional strength and reduced weight, this control arm features upgraded rubber bushings with knurling to secure it firmly to the sub-frame. The ball joint includes patented sintered metal bearings and a neoprene dust boot with a patented sealing ring. The ball joint is treated with a Repel-TEK surface coating to resist rust and corrosion, finished in a silver color that enhances durability.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and designed for ease, requiring no drilling due to precise OE fitment. The assembly includes a part-specific slotted castle nut, cotter pin, and 180-degree SAE grease fitting, facilitating quick and secure attachment.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 14-16 4WD Sierra 1500 models equipped with stock aluminum control arms and 17-18 Sierra 1500 models, offering a reliable direct replacement without modification.
