Description
PRODUCT OVERVIEW. The 30 PSI Fuel Pressure Gauge; Tinted 7 Color is designed to accurately monitor fuel pressure in diesel trucks and other vehicles operating with low-pressure fuel systems. It displays real-time readings from 0 to 30 PSI, alerting the driver to peak or dangerously low fuel pressure levels that can affect engine performance and longevity. This gauge is ideal for upgrading factory setups or adding fuel pressure monitoring where none existed.
CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. This gauge features a robust black face with a tinted, magnified lens that enhances readability and aesthetics. Powered by stepper motor technology, the red needle sweeps smoothly across a 270-degree arc, delivering precise analog readings. The backlighting offers seven vibrant, selectable LED colors, providing customization to match vehicle interiors or factory lighting schemes. The included metal mounting bracket ensures a sturdy and secure installation.
INSTALLATION. Installation is straightforward with included wiring harnesses and plug-and-play modular connectors, requiring no complicated splicing or additional wiring. Basic mounting may require a dashboard cutout if not replacing an existing gauge, but no extensive drilling or fabrication is typically necessary.
WARRANTY. This product is backed by a one-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
APPLICATION. Fits universal; some adaptation may be required depending on vehicle make and model. A snubber valve is recommended for Dodge Ram Cummins diesel engines to safeguard against pressure spikes, and an aftermarket lift pump is necessary when used on GM Duramax engines.
