Description
Precision Boost Monitoring. The 20 PSI Boost Gauge Black 7 Color is designed to measure and display boost pressure levels from 0 to 20 PSI for vehicles equipped with smaller or older turbochargers. It provides essential real-time data for monitoring turbo boost pressure, helping to prevent engine damage caused by overboosting, optimize performance, and improve fuel efficiency by maintaining safe boost levels.
Construction and Appearance. Featuring a 52mm black gauge dial with an analog display, the boost gauge includes a magnified clear lens to enhance readability. The illuminated red needle moves smoothly across a 270° arc driven by advanced stepper motor technology. The gauge incorporates LED backlighting capable of displaying seven solid color options, including blue, green, red, teal, yellow, purple, and white, along with two color cycle modes and a color memory feature that retains your selected settings after power off. The dimming feature reduces brightness when headlights are on, ensuring optimal visibility without distraction.
Installation. Installation requires moderate skill and may involve drilling and tapping the intake manifold to connect the included 9-foot boost hose and brass compression fittings. The kit includes all necessary components such as a two-foot power harness with wiring for power, ground, and dimming, along with a U-shaped metal mounting bracket and hardware. Installation instructions are provided to assist with the process.
