Make accessing your aftermarket stereo unit’s USB port and A/V input much easier with this Scosche Mountable AUX A/V Input and USB Port for Aftermarket Stereos. This extension wire features a male USB and a 3.50mm stereo jack plugs on one end, and a combination USB and stereo jack input on the other. This component is designed to replace your truck’s auxiliary power outlet on the dash. In doing so, this auxiliary A/V input and USB port makes accessing these functions on your new stereo head unit much easier. Additionally, this cable extension is a more visually appealing alternative to extension cables that just dangle out of a section on your dash.
Tough Build. This auxiliary A/V input and USB port feature a terminal consisting of a 3.50mm A/V jack input and USB port housed in an enclosure molded from high-quality automotive-grade plastic, making it highly resistant to deterioration over time. This combo terminal also includes a snap-on dust cap to keep the ports protected from dust and splashes. These ports are then connected to a USB and a 3.50mm male plug using heavy-gauge copper wire designed to provide lossless signal transfer. Finally, the combo USB and A/V terminals come in black, offering an understated look to your interior.
Trouble-Free Install Procedure. This auxiliary A/V input and USB port mounts onto your dash using any 12-volt style auxiliary power outlet on your dash. Its male USB and 3.50mm ports for their part simply plug into the corresponding female ports found on the rear of your aftermarket stereo head unit.
