Description
Hassle-Free Radio Reception. Maintain hassle-free clear radio reception on your aftermarket stereo head unit with this Scosche Reverse Antenna Adapter. This adapter is designed to you to connect your Silverado 3500’s factory antenna with your new stereo head unit without the need for time-consuming cutting and splicing of the antenna’s lead wire. This is accomplished by utilizing a factory-style female antenna plug and a proprietary aftermarket male plug that’s connected with robust wiring. This design also ensures you receive exceptional signal strength for crystal clear radio reception.
Wear-Resistant Build. This antenna adapter comes with a Motorola-style female connector on one end that, and a proprietary male plug on the other. These connectors are then sheathed in premium automotive-grade plastic enclosures, offering maximum resistance to corrosion. Rounding out its construction is a heavy-gauge connector wire engineered to deliver a lossless signal for superior reception quality.
Direct Install Procedure. This Scosche antenna adaptor’s included connectors are designed to plug into your truck’s antenna lead wire on one end and your stereo head unit on the other. No extra drilling is necessary but you will need to disassemble the trim panel surrounding your truck’s stereo. Other than that installation requires just standard hand tools to complete.
