It absorbs bumps, jerks, tugs, and trailer sway, improving control and reducing damage to trailer and tow vehicle components during towing.

    Construction and Appearance. Built with 3/8 inch thick steel side and top plates, this hitch features a durable textured matte Max Black powder-coated finish that is impact resistant. The heavy-duty air spring is located under the receiver tube, providing an effective air ride suspension system. Urethane bump cushions further absorb shocks, and the hinge uses a 1-inch 1045 carbon steel pivot bolt with grease zerk for easy maintenance.

    Installation. Installation is straightforward with no drilling required. The hitch slides into a standard 2-inch receiver tube and is secured with hitch pins. Air pressure is adjustable for load tuning to optimize towing performance.
