Description
Rear Wheel Housing Upgrade. The SeaSucker Rear Wheel Housing and Ladder Strap is an enhanced replacement part designed to secure the rear wheel of a bicycle more effectively than traditional Velcro straps. It incorporates a ladder strap and buckle system, pre-assembled to the housing, providing a stronger and more reliable hold to ensure stability during transport. This upgrade allows for quick replacement of the existing housing assembly for improved performance.
Construction and Appearance. The assembly features a 25-inch aluminum front wheel mount attached to a durable 1/2-inch thick high-density polyethylene (HDPE) body, combining strength with lightweight durability. The components have a clean finish suitable for roof-mounted, trunk, or hatchback bike rack setups that maintain a professional aesthetic and robust function.
Installation. Installation involves removing the original housing by unscrewing four corner screws, then aligning and securely fastening the upgraded housing with those screws. No drilling or complex modifications are required.
Application. This product fits universally with some adaptation possibly required for specific wheel sizes or axle types, with compatibility for wheels up to 29 inches, excluding support for boost hubs (15x110mm).
