Adds More Power. Adding this S&B Cold Air Intake with Dry Extendable Filter helps your truck achieve more horsepower and torque. By pumping more air to your engine, your fuel burns more efficiently, resulting in immediate power boosts.
Tuning Is Not Required. Once you finished installing this product, you don’t need to do any tuning. However, S&B recommends that you perform a test drive to check for any abnormal noises and air leaks.
Features a High-Flow Air Filter. This S&B Cold Air Intake features a high-flow air filter that is equipped with a dry filter. Though the filter can’t be washed, you can extend its life by blowing it out using compressed air.
High-Quality Construction. Built to last, this cold air intake is made of high-quality materials. Its intake tube is constructed using durable plastic that doesn’t easily crack or warp. Also, its filters and couplers are crafted with silicone rubber to resist high temperatures and early degradation.
Mass Air Flow Sensor. This cold air intake features a mass air flow sensor to avoid engine check lights. Also, the intake is housed in a full enclosure to prevent any debris from damaging the unit.
Direct Installation. Setting up this cold air intake offers a direct installation. It is built with a bolt-on design that easily mounts to your truck’s factory location points.
Backed by a Million-Mile Warranty. For the customer’s assurance, this product is backed by a million-mile warranty. If your purchased item is defective, S&B will provide you a replacement. However, if the product was purchased from an unauthorized seller, the warranty will not be valid.
Not CARB-Certified. Currently, this cold air intake is not CARB-certified. This means that this product is not allowed to be sold or used within California and other states with similar emission standards.
Application. The S&B Cold Air Intake with Dry Extendable Filter is created to fit the 2017-2018 6.2L GMC Sierra 1500 models.
