This intake kit outflows the factory intake and provides improvements in horsepower and torque both for your daily drives and all-terrain adventures. It facilitates improved driveability by delivering a higher volume of cooler, denser air at a faster rate for enhanced airflow dynamics.
No Recalibration Required. This Cold Air Intake System maintains proper air-to-fuel ratios without the need to re-program your computer to operate. Simply bolt it on and you're ready to go. AmericanTrucks, however, still recommends a custom tune to reprogram the ECU to get the best possible performance from this intake.
Efficient and High-Quality Oiled Air Filter. The Oiled, Cleanable Cotton Air Filter included in this intake kit features enhanced filtration technology with high durability and optimum filtration capacity. Its multi-layered cotton media is designed to significantly increase the air volume directed to the system for maximum airflow while maintaining high filtration efficiency.
High-Quality Construction. This intake system comes with a fully-enclosed air box to keep the debris and hotter surrounding air from entering the system. The large, clear lid facilitates easier monitoring of the filter for more convenient maintenance. This kit is also durably built to withstand high mechanical impacts and elevated temperatures. Moreover, the large-diameter intake tube is engineered to minimize air restriction and deliver the most efficient airflow dynamics.
Bolt-On Installation. S&B manufactured this Cold Air Intake with Oiled Filter to fit into your Super Duty’s factory mounting locations with no drilling required. The installation can typically be completed using standard hand tools.
Million-Mile Limited Warranty. A Million-Mile Warranty against factory defects in materials and workmanship is offered by S&B for this Cold Air Intake System. Some limitations and exclusions are indicated in the manufacturer’s warranty guide; please check the terms and conditions for full details.
Not CARB-Certified. This Cold Air Intake is not CARB certified at this time. It is legal in California for use on race vehicles only. The use of this device on vehicles used on public streets or highways is strictly prohibited in California and other states that have adopted California emission regulations.
