Performance Boost. The S&B Cold Air Intake with Oiled Cleanable Cotton Filter was engineered to optimize airflow and minimize air restriction to improve your Super Duty’s overall ground dynamics. It outflows the factory intake by 36.98% and holds an efficiency rating of 99.26%. Using this kit on your Super Duty will facilitate a more powerful combustion process and enhanced power output for a bolder all-terrain experience.
Computer Re-Tuning Not Required. With S&B’s advanced engineering, this Cold Air Intake can be used after installation without the need to reprogram your Super Duty’s computer. This intake system boosts engine power using the factory tune. AmericanTrucks, however, still recommends a custom tune to reprogram your vehicle’s ECU to get the best possible performance from this intake.
Efficient, Durable, and Reusable Air Filter. The Oiled, Cleanable Cotton Air Filter included in this intake kit features enhanced filtration technology with high durability and optimum filtration capacity. Its multi-layered cotton media is designed to significantly increase the air volume directed to the system for maximum airflow, while maintaining high filtration efficiency.
Long-Lasting Functionality. With its premium materials and high-quality craftsmanship, this Cold Air Intake System is built to withstand high-stress operations and high-temperature conditions. The large-diameter intake tube is engineered to minimize air restriction to deliver the most efficient airflow dynamics. This intake kit also includes a fully-enclosed air box to keep the hotter surrounding air from entering the system. In addition, the large, clear lid offers easier monitoring of the filter for more convenient maintenance.
Bolt-On Installation. S&B manufactured this Cold Air Intake with Oiled Filter to fit into your Super Duty’s factory mounting locations with no drilling required. The installation can typically be completed using standard hand tools.
