Enhanced Overall Dynamics. Reinforce your Super Duty’s acceleration and engine sound by enhancing the airflow using this Cold Air Intake with Dry Extendable Filter from S&B. This intake system draws in a higher volume of oxygen-rich cold air for more efficient combustion that generates significant torque gains and horsepower increase. With the improved air-to-fuel ratio, your Super Duty will also experience faster throttle response and improved fuel economy.
Computer Re-Tuning Not Required. This Cold Air Intake does not require reprogramming of your Super Duty’s computer. This intake system boosts engine power using the factory tune and can be used as is after installation. However, to get the best possible performance from this intake, AmericanTrucks still recommends a custom tune to reprogram your vehicle’s ECU.
Performance Air Filter. S&B includes a premium air filter with a high filtration capacity. The 8-layer, dry extendable media features a pleated design and massive configuration that allow larger air volume and faster velocity to intensify the cooler air charge. This results in significant improvements in raw power and mileage performance.
High-Quality Construction. Engineered for long-lasting functionality, this Cold Air Intake System is composed of high-quality components. S&B uses highly durable thermoplastic material for its air box to effectively block the hotter engine compartment air. The large-diameter intake tube is made of high-flow and high-strength material for remarkably efficient air flow. Moreover, this intake system has two airflow configurations depending on your needs. It comes with a silicone box plug that will seal the airbox, making the front inlet the primary source of air.
Bolt-On Installation. This Cold Air Intake with Dry Extendable Filter is designed to fit into your Super Duty’s factory mounting locations with no drilling required. The installation completes using standard hand tools and light to moderate mechanical skills.
Limited Warranty. S&B backs this Cold Air Intake System with a Million-Mile Limited Warranty against factory defects in materials and workmanship. Some limitations and exclusions apply; please check the terms and conditions for full details.
CARB-Certified. This Cold Air Intake outperforms other intake systems in every state, thanks to its 50-state CARB certification.
