Description
High-Capacity Fuel Tank. The S&B Replacement Fuel Tank; 55-Gallon offers increased fuel capacity designed to extend your driving range. It replaces the standard 31-gallon tank, giving you enhanced fuel storage ideal for long hauls or heavy-duty use. This upgrade helps reduce the frequency of refueling stops while maintaining fuel gauge operation.
Construction and Appearance. Made from durable ¼-inch thick crosslink polyethylene, this tank is engineered to resist impact and corrosion. Its midship design occupies the space forward of the OE tank and has a smooth textured black finish. The robust material ensures long-lasting performance under demanding conditions.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with all necessary components included for a plug-and-play replacement. There is no need for drilling, and the tank mounts in the stock location using the supplied straps, making the upgrade process simple.
Warranty. This fuel tank is covered by a lifetime warranty, demonstrating confidence in its durability and reliability.
Application. Designed to fit 2006-2024 Dodge Ram 2500 Mega Cab models with 5.9L and 6.7L diesel engines. It replaces the factory fuel tank but is not compatible with vehicles requiring OE skid plate mounting.
