Description
Mounting Reinforcement. The Rotopax Backing Plate provides additional support and security when mounting RotopaX pack mounts, especially on plastic containers or surfaces that are less structurally robust. It enhances installation reliability, ensuring your gear stays secure during rigorous use.
Construction and Appearance. Made from 16 gauge, .063 inch thick steel, the backing plate has a durable powder-coated finish that resists corrosion and abrasion. Its 5.5 inch round shape helps distribute mounting forces evenly for improved strength and durability.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and generally requires only standard mounting hardware and common tools. Depending on the mounting surface, minor adaptation or drilling may be necessary to align holes and secure the plate properly.
