Versatile Bike Rack. The RockyMounts 1.25-Inch Receiver Hitch MonoRail Bike Rack carries 2 bikes designed to secure various bicycle types from road to fat tire e-bikes. It secures bikes by the front wheel, avoiding frame contact, while accommodating tires from 20” to 29” diameter and widths up to 5.0” fat bike tires. This rack folds flat against the vehicle and tilts down 30 degrees to allow hatch access, enhancing convenience.
_x000D_Construction and Appearance. Crafted with durable materials, this rack has a robust 39 lb construction that ensures long-lasting use. Finished with a sleek, functional design, it includes anti-wobble hitch hardware and locking mechanisms keyed alike for added security and stability during transport.
_x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward with no drilling required and includes an anti-wobble hitch pin for a tight fit. Depending on the vehicle model, handlebar width, or accessories, a fit check or an 8" hitch extension may be necessary to ensure proper clearance and safety, especially for cargo vans or certain vehicles prone to exhaust-related damage.
