It enables folding racks like BackStage, MonoRail, and SplitRail to fold flat for vehicles with spare tires or recessed hitches, improving compatibility and convenience. This extension is also suitable for use with popular bike racks from brands such as Thule, Yakima, and Kuat.

Construction and Appearance. This hitch extension incorporates a premium 3-axis anti wobble system to ensure stability and minimize movement. It is constructed of durable metal components with a premium metal snap-on lock pod featuring a rubber dust shutter, adding both security and protection from the elements.

Installation. Installation is straightforward and does not require drilling. It includes a locking hitch bolt and pin to secure the extension firmly to a 2” hitch receiver for ease of use and peace of mind.
