      Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from high-strength 8620 steel, the ring gear provides durability and resistance to wear. The precision-machined pinion features 9 teeth on a 1.626-inch diameter shaft with 30 splines for secure fitment. The gears have a standard rotation design and are crafted to exacting specifications for reliable performance and longevity.

      Installation. Installation requires mechanical skill but does not typically demand drilling or modification to the axle housing. It is designed to fit front or rear positions on GM 10 bolt axles with a differential carrier ratio of 2.73 or higher, and proper installation tools and knowledge of gear setup are essential for correct backlash and contact pattern adjustment.
