The Red Head Steering Gears HD Replacement Steering Gear Box is engineered to restore and enhance steering precision on your 2007 to 2010 4WD Silverado 2500 HD. Featuring a three-turn lock-to-lock ratio (Part #2872), this heavy-duty gearbox offers improved responsiveness and control, making it an excellent choice for towing, daily driving, or hauling applications.

      Construction and Appearance. Built with precision internal components and tight tolerances, this steering gear box eliminates play and reduces steering wander common in high-mileage or worn factory units. The heavy-duty construction ensures long-term durability and smoother operation. For lifted trucks or those running oversized tires, an optional four-turn version is available for increased steering leverage (sold separately).

      Installation. Installation is moderately difficult and typically requires removal of the factory steering gear box and proper alignment of steering components. Professional installation is recommended for optimal fitment and performance.

      Warranty. This product includes a one-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects.
