Heat Protection Solution. The Pipe Shield; 6-Inch x 12-Inch; Stainless Steel is designed to shield pipes from extreme heat, preventing damage and increasing comfort inside vehicles. It protects adjacent components and reduces radiant heat exposure, enhancing safety and performance.
_x000D_Construction and Appearance. Constructed with durable 304 stainless steel, this shield features a preformed curved shape to fit most pipe sizes. Two layers of stainless steel encapsulate a high-temperature insulation that withstands up to 2000°F of radiant heat. Welded seams and stainless steel stand offs provide strength and durability while creating a 1/2” air gap for improved heat dissipation. The finish is a polished metallic texture typical of stainless steel.
