      Description

      Thermal Protection Shield. The Form-A-Barrier 12-Inch x 12-Inch offers a lightweight and versatile solution to protect automotive components from intense heat. Designed for use in firewalls, interiors, engines, and other areas where thermal shielding is critical to performance and safety, it provides protection up to 1300°F when installed with a minimum 1 inch gap from the heat source.

      Construction and Appearance. This heat shield consists of a rigid, formable sheet measuring 12 inches square and 3/16 inch thick. Both sides feature a reflective material finish that enhances heat reflection. The product comes flat to allow easy customization to fit specific areas.

      Installation. Installation requires mechanical fastening with pins, screws, or bolts. The shield can be easily shaped by hand to match irregular surfaces and does not involve adhesives in its mounting.

      Application. Fits universal; some adaptation may be required.
