The sleeve slides over these lines to prevent damage caused by high temperatures and mechanical wear, enhancing durability and reliability in demanding conditions.

      Construction and Appearance. Crafted from braided fiberglass material and heavily coated with 100% iron oxide silicone rubber, the sleeve offers a durable, heat-resistant protective layer. It withstands direct exposure to heat up to 500°F and intermittent heat up to 2000°F. The silicone coating provides a smooth black finish that resists abrasion and heat degradation.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward and generally requires no special tools or drilling. The included adhesive-free, self-adhering silicone Fire Tape allows for easy termination of sleeve ends or joining multiple sleeves, resulting in a clean and professional appearance.
