This hitch cover is designed to work as a “placeholder” for any standard hitch accessory, keeping it covered, thus preventing mud and debris from contaminating the area. This ensures your receiver hitch’s inner surface remains rust-free longer while also eliminating the need for frequent cleaning. What’s more, this cover assembly also adds a fresh new look to your rear courtesy of the familiar Ford oval logo and the Built Tough slogan.
Durable Build Quality. This hitch cover is manufactured from a high-grade stainless steel plate for durability and corrosion resistance. The cover’s shank and face plate are then machine-cut and formed before getting riveted together to form a solid assembly. Meanwhile, a square blue ABS plastic insert is sandwiched in between the face plate before precision-cutting the logo and slogan. The result is a radical contrasting style that won’t fade for years.
Uncomplicated Install Procedure. This Class III hitch cover mounts in the same manner as any standard accessory. Specifically, you simply insert the assembly into your truck’s 2-inch receiver hitch before securing it with a standard hitch pin. What’s more, this cover features a 3-position hitch pin locking holes, enabling you to get the look you want. Please note that the hitch pin is not included with this cover.
