Description
Adjustable Ride Control. The Rancho RS9000XL Rear Shock for 3-Inch Rancho Suspension Lift Kit offers nine levels of adjustable damping to provide customized ride firmness and control. Designed for hardworking trucks, SUVs, and Jeeps, it excels in on-road comfort and off-road flexibility, particularly when towing or hauling heavy loads.
Construction and Appearance. Built for durability, the shock features an 18mm nitro-carburized piston rod resistant to scuffs and corrosion. Its tri-tube body is filled with all-weather fluid and finished with a premium liquid metallic coating complemented by a polyvinyl protective boot, ensuring long-lasting performance and visual appeal.
Installation. Installation is straightforward for professional or experienced do-it-yourself mechanics, with no drilling required and direct fit to existing mounting points. The shock uses loop bushing and sleeve mounts for secure attachment.
Warranty. This shock comes backed by a limited lifetime warranty, providing confidence in its long-term durability and performance.
Application. Specifically designed for the 2011-2019 Silverado 3500 HD with a 3-inch rear lift height as part of a Rancho suspension system. It is recommended to use this shock until depletion, then replace with model RS994381 to maintain optimal suspension performance.
