Description
Adjustable Ride Control. The Rancho Pickup / Silverado 1500 1/2 Ton Rear Suspension Shock Absorber provides nine levels of manual adjustment, allowing drivers to customize damping firmness for various driving conditions including on-road, off-road, towing, and hauling. This shock absorber enhances vehicle control and ride quality by reducing fade and damping performance loss even in extreme temperature conditions.
Construction and Appearance. Built with an 18mm nitro-carburized piston rod and a 1.25-inch sintered iron piston, this shock features a durable tri-tube steel body that is pressurized with nitrogen gas to minimize foaming. It is finished with a premium liquid metallic silver paint and protected by polyvinyl boots and polyurethane dust shields and bumpers, ensuring long-lasting corrosion resistance and smooth performance.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill but involves no drilling, as it mounts with loop bushings and sleeves. The design ensures a straightforward replacement process compatible with existing mounts.
Warranty. This shock absorber comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
Application. Designed specifically for 1999-2018 Sierra 1500 models, this shock absorber excludes vehicles equipped with the Electronic Ride Control Package (ZX3).
