Description
Premium Adjustable Shock. The Rancho RS9000XL Front Shock for stock height provides nine levels of custom damping control for versatile on-road and off-road performance. This shock absorber enhances vehicle control, towing and hauling capability, and ride comfort, while adapting to different terrain and load conditions.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed with a durable 18mm nitro-carburized piston rod, double-welded stress loops, and a 1.25-inch sintered iron piston, this shock features a tri-tube body filled with all-weather fluid engineered for temperature extremes from -40°F to 248°F. The silver painted finish with a polyvinyl protective boot ensures long-lasting corrosion resistance and aesthetic appeal.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and designed to fit directly without the need for drilling or modifications. Mounting hardware is included for convenient replacement on vehicles equipped for this fitment.
Warranty. This product is backed by a limited lifetime warranty, providing confidence in durability and performance.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 2003 to 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD front suspension with no lift. Replace with RS994282 once the shock has reached the end of its service life.
