Description
Extreme Durability. The TTX Front Lower Ball Joint is engineered to deliver reliable performance under demanding conditions typical of commercial and passenger vehicles. It ensures smooth steering and suspension articulation while withstanding harsh road environments. This component is essential for vehicle safety and handling by connecting suspension parts and enabling controlled movement.
Construction and Appearance. Built with patented sintered metal bearings, this ball joint uses a press-in mounting method and includes a durable neoprene dust boot to protect against dirt and moisture. It features a green-colored boot and is pre-greased with an extended 180° SAE grease fitting to facilitate maintenance. The thicker, reinforced flange prevents deformation during installation, and knurling on the housing provides a tighter grip. Fasteners come with pre-applied nylok thread adhesive to resist vibration loosening.
Installation. The ball joint installs via press-fit and is secured with the included part-specific slotted castle nut and snap cotter pin. This approach ensures a precise, secure fit without the need for drilling, reducing labor time.
Application. This front lower ball joint fits 03-06 4WD Ram 2500; 07-10 RAM 2500; and 11-13 4WD RAM 2500 models, optimized for these vehicles’ front lower suspension positions.
