Heat Protection Solution. The Reflect-A-GOLD Heat Reflective Sheet — 12-Inch x 12-Inch — is designed to prevent heat soak into critical automotive areas such as air boxes, seats, firewalls, transmission tunnels, and intakes. It reflects radiant heat away and protects components from excessive heat buildup, improving performance and durability in high-temperature environments.
Construction and Appearance. Made from a metalized polyimide film laminated to a lightweight glass fiber cloth, this sheet features a high-temperature pressure-sensitive adhesive for secure application. It is 0.0065 inches thick with a metallic finish designed for durability and effective thermal reflection, resisting UV degradation for long-term use.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with the adhesive backing, requiring no drilling or special tools. The sheet easily adheres to surfaces and remains firmly in place even in extreme temperature swing environments.
Application. Fits universally; some adaptation may be required. Not suitable for direct application on exhaust components.
